In keeping with CFUW Markham Unionville’s commitment to furthering the education of girls, women, and persons who identify as girls and women, we have established an Education Fund. At the beginning of the club year, each CFUW member contributes $20. We then do further fundraising with our book sales, and community events.
Theater nights have been a major contributor in the past.
In 2019-2020 the Education Fund was supported by the CFUW Centennial Cookbook Committee which created and sold a cookbook featuring members’ favorite recipes. All profits from this undertaking are being donated to the Education fund and will allow us to continue our educational support for girls, women, and persons who identify as girls and women in both our community and internationally.
